Enhanced Sport Heritage in 2024 Yamaha XSR900 Launch

Yamaha in the "mother country" of Japan recently officially sold the 2024 version of the XSR900.

Yamaha XSR900 2024 is a new color update with 2 color options for users to choose from: Silky White and Black Metallic Matching red motifs, while the shock absorbers are painted gold, and the rims are painted copper gold. The Black Metallic X version uses a matte black tone on the entire body, including the rims and shock absorbers.

In addition to updating new colors, the 2024 Yamaha XSR900 has no difference in equipment or engine compared to the previous version. The car still retains its signature Sport Heritage design DNA, suitable for both young and middle-aged people.

The 2024 Yamaha XSR900 still uses a 3-cylinder Crossplane engine block with a total capacity of 888 cc. The engine block produces a maximum capacity of 120 horsepower and maximum torque of 93 Nm. The vehicle is also still equipped with double disc brakes at the front and single disc brakes at the rear with ABS for comprehensive safety during operation.

The latest information posted by the car specialist site iwanbanaran.com shows that Yamaha in this country is starting to develop a completely new version of the NVX.

Introduced for the first time in Vietnam in 2020, the Honda NVX 155 was then also sold in other Southeast Asian countries such as Indonesia and Thailand with the evocative name Aerox 155. And it has been 4 years since it was introduced. launched, so this is probably the right time for the Japanese manufacturer to offer a new upgrade for this car model.

Sources say Yamaha has launched a plan to develop a completely new NVX. It is unclear what improvements will be made to the new model, but it is expected that the design will be changed. At the same time, the engine will be upgraded, most likely using a completely new Hybrid engine to provide better power and be environmentally friendly.

However, Yamaha has not made any official announcement on this issue, so we still need to wait for confirmation from this Japanese manufacturer.

Currently, the Yamaha NVX155 uses a 155.1 SOHC single-cylinder Blue Core engine block, liquid-cooled. This engine block produces a maximum power of 11.3kW (15.4 PS)/8,000 rpm and maximum torque of 13.9 N.m (1.4kgf.m)/6,500 rpm. NVX 155 also uses VVA to provide smoother acceleration and better power in each rev range.

In addition to impressive power, the NVX 155 also impresses thanks to a series of modern equipment such as LED headlights and an LCD instrument cluster with integrated smartphone connectivity.

The car is also equipped with a smartkey, integrated convenient USB charging port and spacious storage compartment under the seat. In addition to front disc brakes and rear drums, the car is also equipped with an ABS anti-lock braking system (on the ABS version).

Currently, the NVX 155 is a big competitor of the Honda Click 160 (or Vario 160).
