Chinese car company Haval started accepting deposits for the B-SUV Jolion HEV model in Vietnam

This car model will be imported completely from Thailand, equipped with a Hybrid engine. Specifically, the goodwill deposit program that the Chinese car company applies to customers who buy Haval Jolion HEV cars. Accordingly, customers will only reserve 10 million VND and will be refunded if they do not receive the car upon launch.

In addition to the above information, the announcement on the Haval Vietnam website does not reveal any other information about the Jolion HEV model. However, according to sales consultants, Haval Jolion HEV will sell for about 700 million VND. The overall dimensions length x width x height are 4,472 x 1,874 x 1,626 mm respectively.

Wheelbase 2,700 mm and ground clearance 168 mm. Compared to the H6, the Haval Jolion HEV design is more personal and dynamic. The front of the car still has an aggressive diamond-patterned steering wheel, while the LED daytime running lights and rear taillights use modern LED borders.

In Thailand, two versions of Haval Jolion HEV seats are also covered in synthetic leather with a 6-way power driver's seat and a 4-way manual passenger seat. The Ultra version driver's seat is more advanced with additional cooling features.

1.5L 4-cylinder DOHC gasoline engine has a maximum capacity of 93.6 horsepower and maximum torque of 125 Nm. While the electric motor has a capacity of 153.8 horsepower and 250Nm of torque. When both engines work together, the combined power is up to 190 ps (187 horsepower) and the combined torque is 375 Nm.

Combined with the Hybrid engine is a DHT automatic transmission combined with Drive Mode with 4 modes: Normal, Sport, Economy and Snow. In addition, Haval Jolion HEV is also developed on the same LEMON Platform as the Haval H6 HEV sold in Vietnam, but has a smaller size.

In Thailand, the selling price of two versions of Haval Jolion HEV is 799,000 baht equivalent to 551 million VND and 999,000 baht equivalent to 689 million VND respectively. Haval's B-SUV model has a warranty of 5 years or 150,000 km, while the Hybrid battery pack has a warranty of 8 years or 180,000 km. In addition, customers also receive free emergency support for 5 years or 150,000 km.
